What began as a young girl helping in the kitchen has grown into my passion: Baking for others.


Whether it was hosting cookie-decorating play dates for my kids, making themed cakes for birthday parties or enjoying family holiday cookie icing nights, I baked for every occasion.  I brought cookie trays, cupcakes or pies to places I was invited (and still do!).  My friends and family anxiously await the homemade "care packages" delivered all year long.  When people tasted my assorted goodies, they encouraged me to start a business. Well, I have decided to take them up on their suggestion by starting Maresa Made.

Baking is my main creative outlet, now I am able to share it with you.  I gained hands-on experience baking alongside my Italian mother-in-law.  I mastered the Wilton © series of cake decorating classes and am now a qualified Wilton © Method Instructor.  My specialties include personalized cakes, cupcakes and cookies adorned with fondant or gumpaste decorations.  I also bake sensational pies and other items such as petit fours, buche noel, carrot cakes, molded cakes and crumb cake.


I have catered events ranging from entire dessert tables for charitable fundraisers and corporate affairs to simply a dessert for a special evening for two.  I use farm-fresh ingredients in my made-from-scratch recipes.  I also use seasonal fresh fruits and, if requested, low fat ingredients in my creations.


I believe that there is no occasion that personalized homemade baking doesn't improve and make more memorable.
